Godrej Launches LCD TVs Starting at Rs 6500
Using 'Intelligent Processing for Image Excellence' (iPIX), Godrej claims to be the first company to use this technology that will show an improvement in video images. The iPIX technology is similar to what is in remote sensing satellites to receive input signals and clean them by reducing noise levels, improves sharpness and clarity.

"We have spent the last three years not just in developing superior technology but also in developing the infrastructure, most critical being service for LCDs and CRTs," he added.Godrej's XLCD and CRT models are available in different screen sizes from 15-inch to 42-inch TVs configured with various speaker options for full rich sound.
- The 15-inch screen TV would cost Rs 6,000 plus taxes
- The 32-inch LCD TV would have two models in a price range of Rs 42,000 to Rs 45,000
- The 42-inch LCD TV would cost Rs 70,000
Eyeing a 10% share within one year of its operations of this Rs 9,000-crore market, Eon range has been launched in Andhra Pradesh and will be rolled out across India in a phased manner.
The company is also planning an advertising and marketing campaign highlighting the 'cleaner images' through iPIX technology, using various media channels and customer demo/education initiatives.
